Installed Plugins

Plugins are mainly user-contributed add-ons that enhance and extend TWiki features and capabilities. A limited number of plugins are included in the core TWiki distribution - and any those can be removed - while the rest are optional, available from TWiki:Plugins.PluginPackage.

Here is a list of the plugins currently installed and enabled on this TWiki site:

• BreadCrumbsPlugin (v0.10, $Rev: 12307$): A flexible way to display breadcrumbs navigation
• CommentPlugin (Dakar, 8164): Allows users to quickly post comments to a page without an edit/preview/save cycle.
• DBCachePlugin (1.30, $Rev: 11939$): Lightweighted frontend to the DBCacheContrib
• EditTablePlugin (any TWiki, 11706): Edit TWiki tables using edit fields, date pickers and drop down boxes
• ExtendedSelectPlugin (1.1): Adds options to the select type in forms
• FilterPlugin (0.98, $Rev: 12312$): Substitute and extract information from content by using regular expressions
• FlexWebListPlugin (v0.09, $Rev: 11715$): Flexible way to display hierarchical weblists
• HeadlinesPlugin (2.11, 11134): Build news portals that show headline news based on RSS news feeds from news sites.
• ImageGalleryPlugin (3.41, 11160): Displays image gallery with auto-generated thumbnails from attachments.
• ImagePlugin (0.4, $Rev: 12310$): Control the display and alignment of images using an easy syntax
• InterwikiPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 8329$): Link ExternalSite:Page text to external sites based on aliases defined in a rules topic
• NatSkinPlugin (3.00-pre9, $Rev: 11642$): Supplements the bare bones NatSkin theme for TWiki
• PreferencesPlugin (Dakar, 9839): Allows editing of preferences using fields predefined in a form
• RedDotPlugin (1.37, $Rev: 11521$): Renders edit-links as little red dots
• RenderListPlugin (1.033): Render bullet lists in a variety of formats
• SlideShowPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 8154$): Create web based presentations based on topics with headings.
• SmiliesPlugin (Dakar, 8154): Render smilies as icons, like  :-) for or  :cool: for :cool:
• TablePlugin (Dakar, 8154): Control attributes of tables and sorting of table columns
• TagCloudPlugin (v0.41, $Rev: 11395$): Renders a tag cloud given a list of terms
• TimeSincePlugin (1.02, $Rev: 11712$): Display time difference in a human readable way
• TwistyPlugin (1.2.0, $Rev: 11829$): Twisty section JavaScript library to open/close content dynamically
• UserInfoPlugin (1.53, 10521): Render information about users on your TWikiSite

Administrators can enable and disable plugins using configure.
